  • Day 5: Leh-Hunder in the Nubra Valley
Today marks the long-awaited journey to one of the world's highest motorable roads. The nomads have reached Khardung La at 18,380 feet, ready to live their dream. The caravan ventures onward to the enchanting Nubra Valley, where deserts, mountains, and rivers converge. Here, nomads encounter Bactrian camels and seek blessings from the 100-foot-high Maitreya Buddha at Diskit Gompa, the oldest and largest monastery in Nubra Valley.
  • Day 6: Hunder in the Nubra Valley
Start your day by heading to Turtuk village, situated along the Shyok River. Until 1971, it was under Pakistan’s control, but India gained control afterward. Turtuk, part of the Gilgit-Baltistan region, offers a unique cultural, linguistic, and historical experience. Unlike Central Ladakh and Nubra, it features dramatic narrow valleys and steep mountains. Enjoy the lower altitude and green pastures yielding fresh apricots and apples. Return to Diskit/Hunder by evening.
  • Day 7: Hunder-Pangong Tso
The nomadic caravan is embarking on a journey to Pangong Tso, a stunning lake. Today's route is the most remote, featuring water crossings, dry riverbeds, smooth roads, and almost nonexistent paths. It promises an epic riding day, and the breathtaking view of Pangong Tso will erase all fatigue. Camping by the lake with basic necessities offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
  • Day 8: Pangong Tso-Leh
Witnessing the sunrise at Pangong Tso is a breathtaking moment for nomads. After breakfast, we'll say goodbye to the stunning lake and begin our return journey to Leh base camp through Changla Pass, standing at an elevation of 17,688 feet.
  • Day 9: Kargil-Leh
Nomads will say their last farewell to the Lama's land and head towards Kargil. Along the Srinagar-Leh highway, they'll seek Guru Nanak Dev's blessings at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, experience the illusion of the magnetic hill, witness the confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers, and explore the moon-like landscape near Lamayuru Monastery. Before reaching Kargil, they'll visit the Mulbekh Monastery.
  • Day 10: Kargil-Sonmarg
Today's destination is Sonmarg. Honor the bravery of the Indian army at the Kargil War Memorial. Prepare for a challenging ascent to Zozi La, the final and toughest pass separating Kashmir Valley and Ladakh. Experience a dramatic change in the landscape beyond Zozi La. Finally, settle in Sonmarg for the night.
  • Day 11: Departure from Srinagar Airport to Sonmarg.
The nomadic caravan is leaving the Himalayas, heading to new destinations. A final chat among fellow nomads marks the end of the trip. Farewells are tough, but we promise to reunite for more adventures, forever etched in your memories. We'll drop you at Srinagar Airport, and departure to your hometown begins with a bag full of cherished memories. Safe travels to your destination! Note: Detailed trip activities are shared upon arrival to heighten excitement.
