  • Day 2 : Manali, a captivating destination nestled in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, offers a picturesque retreat for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
After meticulous preparation and years of anticipation, the moment to embark on a once-in-a-lifetime journey has arrived. Touch down in Manali, a breathtaking hill station in North India, renowned for trekking, skiing, and backpacking adventures. Unwind and absorb the charm of this vibrant hill town. Later in the evening, our team will meet you for introductions, group formation, and a briefing on trip rules.
  • Day 3: Travel from Manali to Sarchu and experience the captivating journey through scenic landscapes.
It's time to heed the mountains' call as we embark on an exhilarating road trip, the first day unfolding on the iconic Manali-Leh highway—a rider's dream. En route, marvel at the Atal Tunnel, a 9.02 km engineering feat, the world's longest tunnel above 10,000 feet. Passing through Koksar, Tandi, Keylong, and Jispa, we encounter challenging terrains, water crossings, and unpaved roads. Highlights include Zing Zing Bar, Suraj Tal, and Baralacha La, with a night's rest in the intriguing tent city of Sarchu. Keep those tanks filled for this unforgettable journey through the majestic landscapes.
  • Day 4: Traverse from Sarchu to Leh.
Awaken to embark on a thrilling journey to Leh today. As our caravan leisurely traverses the meandering paths of the Manali-Leh Highway, nomads will revel in the majestic Himalayan heights. Witness marvels like Gaata Loops, Pang, Moore Plains, and Tanglang La, the third highest pass. En route to Leh, explore the Thiksey Monastery. Arrive in Leh by evening, with free time to explore local markets. Sleep with pride, congratulating yourself for conquering the challenging Manali-Leh Highway.
  • Day 5: Journey from Leh to Hunder in the mesmerizing Nubra Valley.
Today marks the realization of a dream as the nomads embark on a journey to conquer one of the world's highest motorable roads, Khardung La (18380ft). The caravan ventures into the enchanting Nubra Valley, where the convergence of desert, mountains, and river creates a breathtaking spectacle. Amidst this natural marvel, nomads encounter Bactrian camels and pay homage to the towering 100ft-high Maitreya Buddha at Diskit Gompa, the oldest and largest monastery in Nubra Valley.
  • Day 6: Hunder in the Nubra Valley encompasses a journey that extends to Turtuk and back to Hunder.
Begin your day by journeying to Turtuk village, situated along the Shyok River. Previously under Pakistan's administration until 1971, Turtuk now belongs to India, offering a unique cultural, linguistic, and historical experience in the Gilgit-Baltistan region. The landscape, marked by narrow valleys and steep mountains, contrasts with Central Ladakh and Nubra. At a lower altitude than Leh, Turtuk boasts green pastures yielding fresh apricots and apples. Conclude your day by returning to Diskit or Hunder in the evening.
  • Day 7: Journey from Hunder to Pangong Tso
Embarking on our nomadic caravan, we set forth towards Pangong Tso, a globally acclaimed pristine lake. Today's journey unfolds on the most secluded path, navigating water crossings, dry riverbeds, and barely existent roads. Despite the challenges, the breathtaking sight of Pangong Tso awaits, promising to erase fatigue. Camping by the lake, with minimal essentials, will create unforgettable memories.
  • Day 8: Lying amidst the serene landscapes, Pangong Lake in Leh unfolds as a tranquil marvel.
Witnessing the sunrise at Pangong Tso is a breathtaking moment for nomads. Following breakfast, we bid farewell to this majestic lake, commencing our journey back to the Leh base camp through the Changla Pass at an elevation of 17,688 feet.
  • Day 9: Travel from Leh to Kargil for a captivating journey through the scenic landscapes and historical sites of the region.
Nomads will say their last "Julley" to the land of Lamas as they journey towards Kargil. Along the Srinagar-Leh highway, they'll receive the blessings of Guru Nanak Dev at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, experience the magnetic hill illusion, witness the confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers, and explore the moon-like landscape near Lamayuru Monastery. Don't forget to visit Mulbekh Monastery before reaching Kargil.
  • Day 10: Journey from Kargil to Sonmarg
Today's destination is Sonmarg. Pay respects to the Indian army's valor at the Kargil War Memorial. Unwind for the night in Sonmarg.
  • Day 11: Embark on a journey from Sonmarg to Srinagar Airport for departure.
